Sliding windows
The sliding windows developed by Brombach+Gess are designed to be frameless over the entire surface so that there is optically hardly any difference between them and the end-to-end window front.
The windows are opened and closed by means of a stainless steel handle with an integrated lock thus allowing operation with one hand only. The window can only be slid when the lock is depressed thus preventing unintentional movement. The sliding concept minimises space requirements and the risk of injury resulting from open window slashes are minimised. In "open areas", the sliding windows act as wind-breakers with simple glazing and no sealing. Sliding windows in the interior, on the other hand, have double-glazing and are extensively sealed.
