Fire-protective glazing
The glazing system developed by Brombach+Gess in co-operation with the Meyer-Werft is an integral part of ship structure. This innovation is an alternative to the normal "curtain-type window systems" which are used at present. The glazing known under the trade name of "Pyramar®" has an MED approval and fulfils all requirements as per A-0 and A-60. The system is available as 12mm or 15mm pressure panes, is thus flexible and can be easily adapted to varying requirements. The glazing system was first installed in the Celebrity Solstice.
