Coating of maritime glass
The necessity
A cruise liner is a very special place for vacation were Luxury is directly correlated to cleanliness. Salt water leaves behind visible residue on the glass, therefore Glass surfaces have to be cleaned daily, Dirt hinders visibility and, as a result, also affects the vacation mood.
The result of the coating
• The treated surface is water, oil, and dirt-
repellent.
• Glass corrosion is hampered, - the glass keeps its character.
• Glass cleaning is much easier.
• Savings in time and money for cleaning

| Why coat with Nano-E2C? |
|
• The treated surface is water, oil, and
dirt repellent
• Smaller amounts as well as less
aggressive cleaning agents are
necessary
• Reduction in cleaning times
• Savings in time and money
• Protection of the glass

| The coating process.
Step 1 |
|
| The coating system is applied to the surface. The solvent evaporates.

 |
|
| Step 2 |
|
| A gel is formed and an initial arrangement takes place.

| Step 3 |
|
| During coating, the compounds arrange themselves.

 |
| Step 4 |
|
|
Non-sticking compounds migrate away from the glass-surface to the air. Nanoparticles provide hardness and mechanical resistance in the coating. Sticking compounds form a chemical bond to the glass surface.
